SNARS (Snowmobile, Automated Reporting System) report: The 2016-2017 season is still being considered an educational year and using the program will not be mandatory but strongly encouraged. It is required that all clubs log into the program and set up club information to get used to using it. There are three levels of reporting, club member, club administrator and county administrator. Club administrators may need to allow for some time to set up information. Information required includes:
1. Club members and club administrators
2. Horse power from groomer (Following description from the AWSC notes)
a. When you start recording equipment and labor rates for non-grooming, when using a power unit you must record the hour meter time. If you don’t have one on your tractor, it is recommended to get one. When you look at the sheets, be aware of the categories on top. – AAA (power units with tracks over 150 hp) AA 106 – 149hp, and A minimum of 105 hp. Engine power, not PTO power. Will eventually be split between power unit and power drag
3. Size of drag (i.e width)
