CCASC Meeting Minutes November 15, 2012 City Limits, Lodi WI The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm by President Mike Levey. 7 clubs were present with Randolph, Camper Country, and New Haven absent. MMSP to approve minutes from the October 25, 2012 meeting as read. MMSP to approve the financial report as presented showing an ending balance of $3,236.62. Youth Report: Trevor Levey reported on the trip to Canada to attend the Snowman Conference (Snowmobilers of Manitoba). Trevor and Brittney Thompson put on 2 workshops that approximately 40 young Canadian snowmobilers attended. Tyler Brozek attended the AWSC Workshop in Stevens Point. 41 Youth Reps were in attendance. The youth food drive was well received. Tyler challenges all county clubs to bring 2 new youth members to the Chistmas Party. He would like to get more youth from our county involved. AWSC Report: Donna White reported 600+ people attended the AWSC Workshop. AWSC is looking for a new convention center to hold the upcoming workshops to accommodate the growing attendees. All the workshops were well attended. The Silent Auction for AWSC Scholarship Fund raised over $3700. OLD BUSINESS Our Christmas Meeting/Party will be held on Thursday, December 20 at Johnson Sales on Hwy 51 in Leeds (Arlington area). The meeting will be held at 6:30pm, with the party following at 7pm. We are trying to raise some funds with auctions, etc.; therefore clubs are reminded to invite other club members to attend this meeting/party. CCASC will provide beer, soda, plates and utensils. Attendees can bring a dish to pass, auction items and/or food pantry donations. Set-up will be at 5:30pm. NEW BUSINESS MMSP to approve that AWSC will waive 2013/2014 club dues to the club that brings in the most new members to the 2012 Christmas Party. A committee will be formed to decide who wins this challenge. The new map committee will be chaired by Harlan Woodward and Gary Tupper. Any help for other clubs will be appreciated. Arlington Prairie Drifters trail for the North Leeds Junction has been moved 2 miles to the south-east. The trail map showing the change is posted on the CCASC website and handout was distributed to clubs in attendance. The Pardeeville to Cambria trail will be closed until January 6, 2013 due to deer hunting. All clubs are requested to remind their members to stay on the posted trails! The next meeting will be held on Thursday, December 20 at Johnson Sales on Hwy 51 in Leeds (Arlington area). Note that meeting will be held at 6:30 with Xmas party following at 7pm. UP-COMING EVENTS January 22, 2013: Columbus/Fall River White Elephant Sale at Kelly’s Bar in Lost Lake January 27, 2013: Pancake Breakfast at The Casino Supper Club (Hwy 16W Columbus) February 2, 2013: Dane County Easter Seals Ride February 9, 2013: Chili on the Trail from 11am-3pm, north of Poynette February 10, 2013: Pancake Breakfast at the Pardeeville High School 8am-noon February 16, 2013: Yellow Thunder Dinner Raffle at the Dorf Haus in Roxbury MMSC to adjourn the meeting.
