CCASC Meeting Minutes
December 19, 2013

The meeting was called to order by President Mike Levey. 8 clubs were present with New Haven and Randolph being absent.
MMSP to approve the minutes from the November 21, 2013 meeting as written.
MMSP to approve the financial report as presented showing an ending balance of $5409.35. New Haven club has not yet paid Columbia County dues.
The County Liaison Report was given by Al Kaltenberg. He handed out trail maintenance paperwork to clubs in attendance. This paperwork is also available online for clubs not in attendance. These completed packets are due back to Al by June 1, 2014. Columbia County Emergency Management requested a few of our Columbia County Snowmobile Trail maps. Al will deliver them.
The Director’s Report was given by Norrie Brozek for John.
• She noted that the CAP/STEP Program will hopefully be passed soon.
• Also, the AWSC Directors’ Meeting is Saturday, January 11 at 8:30 am. It will be held at DeForest Comfort Inn & Suites. Contact them at (608) 846-9100. If the trails are open, Dane County Association will have guided snowmobile trips in the DeForest area.
The Columbia County Snowmobile maps are here. 10,000 maps were printed along with 50 laminated maps for trails. It is also available online. PDF maps will be sent to Columbia County and Police departments.
Pardeeville to Cambria trail will be closed during the Holiday Deer Hunt (12/24/13 – 1/5/14).
Snowmobile Safety Classes will not have actual driving test. (It is recommended that all students have a parent in attendance and also have their own snowmobile for driving tests.)
Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Otsego Yacht Club at 7:30pm.

Holiday potluck dinner followed the meeting. Also food items were collected and will be distributed to local food pantries.
